When and where is the event?
Tuxes & Tails will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Tetherow Pavilion in Bend. VIP entry begins at 4:30 pm and general admission begins at 5:00 pm.
How do I purchase a table or become a sponsor?
Tables can be purchased directly through this site or by contacting the Philanthropy team at gala@hsco.org.
For sponsorship opportunities, please reach out to Bekka Austin at bekka@hsco.org. We’re happy to tailor options to align with your goals.
What is the dress code?
Tuxes & Tails is an opportunity to have fun with your look. We recommend nature-inspired woodland chic or cocktail attire. Think rich greens, earthy tones, soft textures, or a hint of shimmer.
Will there be animals at the event?
Yes. We typically feature a few special animal guests who help share the impact donors make possible.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
No. Tickets must be purchased in advance and this event is expected to sell out.
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes a delicious dinner, fine wine, access to the silent and live auctions, and the full evening program. Most importantly, it helps provide care and second chances for more than 3,000 animals served by HSCO each year.
What is the difference between General Admission and VIP?
VIP guests enjoy early entry at 4:30 pm, access to a dedicated VIP reception space with bar, and a more relaxed opportunity to connect with fellow supporters before the program begins. General Admission begins at 5:00 pm with full access to the event, including dinner, auctions, and program.
Is seating assigned?
Yes. Tables are reserved for groups who purchase together. Individual guests will be assigned seating in advance to create a welcoming and well-balanced experience. During registration, you can include a group or table name so your party can be seated together.
Is parking available?
Yes, complimentary parking is available at Tetherow. Event staff will be on-site to help guide you upon your arrival.
Can I attend even if I don’t plan to participate in the auction?
Absolutely. Many guests attend simply to enjoy the evening and support the mission through the paddle raise.
When does the silent auction open?
The silent auction will open online prior to the event, giving you time to browse and bid early. You will be notified via email.
Do I need to be present to participate in the auction?
You do not need to be present to participate in the silent auction. Live auction participation requires being at the event.
What is the paddle raise?
The paddle raise is a mission-centered moment during the program where guests can make a direct gift at a level that is meaningful to them. These gifts go straight to supporting local animals and providing services to our community.
What is the Dessert Dash?
The Dessert Dash is a lively and interactive part of the evening. Tables pool their contributions to “win” their choice of dessert with higher totals earning earlier selection. Each table nominates an individual to "dash" to collect their dessert.
Can I make a donation if I can’t attend?
Yes. You can make a gift through this site, at hsco.org, or by mailing a contribution to HSCO at 61170 SE 27th St, Bend, OR 97702. Your support makes a meaningful difference.
Who do I contact with additional questions?
Please reach out to the Philanthropy team at gala@hsco.org or (541) 382-3537. We’re happy to help.
